I‘m inspired by textures and colors in combination with solid woods. The back of the sign outside my workshop is covered in scraps of durable fabric from restoration projects. I also love affixing scraps of rusted metal to pieces and have a collection outside that is awaiting the exact right stage of a weathered look.

It’s gratifying to reinvent time-worn pieces into something new. I hope you are inspired by the concept of re-purposing things as much as I am. They don’t build things like they used to, so it can be a great idea to take something that once served a purpose for a long time and make it strong to last another number of decades.
